CBDA isolate is a microcrystalline powder containing high purity cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) at >90% purity and >92% total active cannabinoids in the blend. CBDA is a non-psychoactive compound that serves as a precursor to CBD. More specifically, CBDA is decarboxylated to create CBD, when heated.
CBDA isolate is ideal for ingestible products such as CBDA tinctures, gummies, and softgels.
CBDA raw ingredients are intended for formulating into finished CBDA products.
When formulating with acidic cannabinoids, do not
let the product’s temperature elevate above 70°C for
more than 30 minutes to avoid decarboxylation.
The FDA has not evaluated CBDA isolate for safety or efficacy. CBDA is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Open Book Extracts operates in a food and pharmaceutical grade facility, which follows all current good manufacturing practices. cGMP stands for Current Good Manufacturing Practices and is a standard set by the FDA to regulate manufacturing campuses to ensure that products reaching the market maintain a high level of integrity, safety, and quality. Currently, cGMP facilities are not required in the hemp extracts industry, but at Open Book Extracts we believe our clients deserve the best so we created a facility and follow practices and guidelines to ensure a premium production.
Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Recommended storage temperature: 2 - 8 °C. Avoid exposure to light, excessive temperatures and moisture.
As with many other cannabinoids, research into the effects of CBDA isolate are still in their early stage. CBDA has been studied for its anti-cancer, anti-seizures, anti-inflammation, and anti-nausea properties; for more information on these research studies, visit our blog The Potential of CBDA Isolate.
