CBD tablet significantly improves diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain
In a Phase II trial, a cannabidiol (CBD) sublingual tablet reduced pain scores in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy by approximately 50 percent.
According to Pure Green Pharmaceuticals Inc, treating diabetic patients with moderate to severe neuropathic pain with a water-soluble cannabidiol (CBD) sublingual tablet resulted in statistically and clinically significant improvements in both average pain and highest pain scores, compared to placebo.

US Researchers Begin First Clinical Trials Using Cannabis Products as Migraine Treatment
Researchers at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine have will test the efficacy of cannabis products on individuals suffering from acute migraines.
The medical researchers grouped the participants into four random categories: the first group received placebo vape pens, the second group was administered four puffs of cannabis flower with the psychoactive ingredient THC; another group received cannabis with CBD; and the last group was given a cannabis vape pen with both THC and CBD.

Proposed law would push U.S. FDA to set regulations for CBD
A bill that would make hemp-derived CBD products legal as an ingredient in dietary supplements, foods and beverages has been proposed by three U.S. Senators.
Longtime hemp supporters Oregon Sens. Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley, both Democrats, and Sen. Rand Paul, a Kentucky Republican, authored the measure, the Hemp Access and Consumer Safety Act, which directs the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) to update its rules to clear a regulatory gray zone.
USPS has acknowledged that hemp and CBD products will not fall under the definition of ENDS, which are banned under the PACT Act
The USPS is still in the process of finalizing the ENDS-related exception application requirements. However, the good news is that USPS has acknowledged that hemp and CBD products will not necessarily fall under the ENDS definition.
Massachusetts amendment pushes for CBD in food, sale of hemp flowers
A proposed amendment in Massachusetts would allow for the addition of hemp-derived CBD ingredients to food, dietary supplements and animal feed, and permit the sale of hemp flowers to consumers.
Colorado And New York Join Other States Banning Hemp Based Delta-8 THC
New York and Colorado joined several states that have already banned delta-8 THC made from hemp.
Delta-8 THC is a chemical component of the cannabis plant. Although delta-8-THC occurs naturally in very small concentrations, it can produce a mild psychoactive effect in some people.
